Who Can Join
In order to open an account and take advantage of the services that POWERCO offers, you must first verify that you are eligible to become a member of the Credit Union. A $5 deposit is required to open an account.

Anyone who resides, owns property, worships, attends school, and/or works in Gahanna, Ohio, (Zip Code 43230) is eligible to join POWERCO Credit Union.

If you meet any one of the criteria listed below, you are eligible to become a member of POWERCO Credit Union, Inc.

• Employees or retirees of American Electric Power, Inc.
• Employees or retirees of Columbus & Southern
  Electric Company Employees or retirees of Ohio Power Company
• Employees or retirees EMH&T
• Members and employees of IBEW Local #683, Local #71, and Local #1105 and their family members
• Members of Sheet Metal Workers Local #24
• Members of Roofers Local #86
• Employees of the Internal Revenue Service
• Employees of NAPA Automotive

• Family member of an employee or retiree of the above listed companies.

(A family member is defined as a spouse and any relative by blood, marriage, or adoption.)
